You've arrived at the Faire and Carnival repository—welcome!

i will be maintaining and frequently updating this database from now (2025 March) on: it's a place where you'll be able to find a plethora of unreleased music that I've made over the years, including the current iteration of incomplete albums, as well as early versions of all published Faire and Carnival works regarding which that material is available.  I decided upon this method of gradual rollout after struggling for a very long time to complete my album Pink Noise; it's really something I've always struggled with, the needing to complete and perfect a cohesive whole before permitting myself to share any of the songs which comprise it.  This is something that was very rooted in a fear of regret manifest as a strict adherence to traditional expectations of what an "album" should be, but has ultimately (especially as I've mostly matured beyond subservience to these neuroses) resulted in a lot of anxiety, outtakes that are never shared even after the fact, and—most detrimentally—paralysis, or the complete inability to write any music at all.  I weighed the potential alleviation of these factors against the possibility of "dishonoring the sanctity" of the listener's experience of building excitement for an upcoming release and determined that I would be much happier and more comfortable sharing my work this way, and so here we are.  I'll also be including commentary on most files and some writeups on the thought processes (and narrative considerations) behind each mainline album and track, with care taken not to spoil too much of the lore strewn across the upcoming 3D site.
