supermassive 08 (dream 1 chpt. 4) produced 2021.06.21–22 asleep Jest finds herself back in Venice with the mysterious woman, who assumes a courteous disposition. She is taken to a lounge called the Red Sea tucked away inside a bridge suspended over a canal, experiences a vision of a figure submerged in the water, and succumbs to a manic episode inside. Jest falls unconscious in her company. --- a good few of these stems are adapted from two botb entries: pbs max ("pbs"; "out"; "big base") and power CHO (self-explanatory). both were assigned to the album after their respective competition runs, but i unsurprisingly cut them from the final version of the album because they were not unique to it. i'm looking forward to fully producing those tracks for sm venice. their replacement as appeared on the finished product (08 2 iso, etc.) was hastily composed in about a day, like #18. it felt pretty good to actually just write music and put it out without too much (over)thought like i was used to. --------- ◼ 08 3 0.mid hopefully this disambiguates the MudChords a bit. knock yourself out ◼ OUT 1.mp3 i originally wrote this for a pretty bad DOOM wad i got 3 levels into building and never touched again. also see "goober" in the root unsorted folder, which was the soundtrack to the first map. i extended this one a bit (big base.mp3) and left it alone for a while; a few months later, a botb major was running and i decided to turn it into a full song (pbs max) and enter it into the compo, which i _think_ you're allowed to do. i don't know. accidental confession? ◼ GROCHO.mp3 original transition between tracks 7 and 8. i hadn't actually fully written either at this time, just this clip. i remember repeatedly listening to this (+ the "Emel" series from the 02 folder) a lot on walks around this time (2017).
