asleep asleep Jest is led into a pagoda inside whose gilded interior she is met by a child whom she again regards as vaguely familiar but who runs away from her before she can ask questions.  The ensuing pursuit leads Jest all the way up the tower, to floor 9, where she is enlightened as to the existence of Peter Johhnmonowsky's Solution for Lost Souls with Spirit Poisoning, a "passthrough film" whose incidence is documented but which can only be experienced while dreaming.
