asleep Jest, elevated back to the first stratum of the dream, awakens into an empty room.  The joy is over, and she must begin the long return home.  Back in the Estate, she contemplates killing herself with a pair of fabric shears.

the commencement of the second suite, 11-13.  this whole section of the album derives in terms of sound primarily from stems for "williams plus", a track i assembled for staffcirc 3 in 2017.  actual confession time: i was given a very strict set of constraints according to which to write that song but i became overwhelmed immediately, opted in lieu to complete a sketch i had written a month or two prior, and sent that in instead (sorry mb37 </3).  i felt really guilty about this for a long time (this will become important later) and ended up apologizing to the then-project coordinator about it.

one of the oldest stems from the project.  it belonged to the earliest earliest initial batch of demos completed in 2017, along with old versions of 01, 03 (then 02), and 16, as well as a 10-second excerpt from 05, a 1-minute excerpt from 06, and the ending of 07.  i don't think any of that stuff ended up on the final cut, but it should be in the repo.

the oldest version of the song.  i built it up in my head at the gym and laid it out in famitracker when i got home.  i also employed this sort of hallucinatory composition style on Radiation (crack_3a.mp3).  i was really attempting to jack tony thai's style for this which i think the organizers realized because they put me right next to him in the lineup.
