the "twenty-year" delusion refers to a temporal mirage; believing you are one time when you are really another.  the name derived from an unhealthy coping mechanism i developed where i would set the clock back on my windows 98/se pc 20 years in order to feel like i was a part of a reality that had not already crumbled beneath my feet but the reference is very relevant to the story.  for both this song and the next i was really trying to capture the surreality of a really good yume nikki music loop; i don't think #24 achieves this but some of the samples in here (see the 23 x series) certainly do.
